Hope you’ve enjoyed your holidays. While all of you are having fun or not so much fun, some of your NCOs have been busy working out some things. Please take note that this post would be pretty long and all cadets’ & NCOs are to read all of it and sort out which part of the post applies to you.
First, I would like to address the tag board issue. I would not like to find out who exactly is behind the whole thing. Enough is enough. Please treat the tag board with respect. I do not appreciate ‘viewed & tagged’ tags here. I understand that some of you are pretty interested in helping to keep the tag board alive but let me repeat, there is no need for that because the blog is where we keep you updated with training schedules and activities and the tag board is put up for what? For you to clarify questions, inform us on your attendance and maybe updating of your blog links not spamming and having tags like that. I hope this disrespectful act is not done by cadets’ of PRSS RCY because it would be very disappointing to find out so. Being a poseur is not a fun thing to be doing and also, not very nice. Anonymous tags are even more not appreciated. How would I freaking know that particular person who can’t make it for trainings or whatever? I’m getting very furious addressing this issue because people here don’t seem to respect each other and basic discipline but there’s no point in getting all flared up.
So I’ve decided that i’ll put down the tag board and all NCOs have agreed on it. A blog without a tag board. Interesting don’t you think so? This will not affect most of you but the next thing I’m going to state and elaborate will. Each and every NCO would be setting up an email address just for PRSS RCY. Please take note of which NCO you are to email accordingly.

How’s that? Also, following the email format closely is important even when you are only updating your handphone number or whatsoever. Grammar error and message tone is also very important. We are very particular people and if we find your tone somehow sarcastic, you will have to redo your message until it sounds right. One tip, type in Microsoft word and check all grammar and spelling error before copying and pasting into the web page and sending to us. Here’s how the respective emails should look like.

Dear Saira ma’am,

I’ve taken much effort to type those emails for your reference. Also, for your name, please type out your rank as well. Look at the above example. If any of the NCOs get a different looking email, you will be punished and redo the email. I hope none of the NCOs will get spam and hoax email in our inbox. Also, we do not appreciate emails with (no subject). Please type out the subject like for example, for changing of handphone number, subject should be ‘Update of Nominal role’ For attendance wise, ‘Update on attendance’ Now that’s for the tag board issue.
Next, for your Red Cross International Bazaar tickets. I hope all of you have sold at least some of your tickets. We’ll be having Red Cross International Bazaar Street sales this coming Friday, 19th of June from 1pm to 5pm. Please meet at 12.45pm at Tampines MRT nearer to the Tampines One side.

4) Personal Waterbottle
Things to note:

2) Take care of your belongings and most importantly your ziplock bag containing your money
3) If everyone has finished selling all their tickets before dismissal time, we can go off earlier after settling everything.
4) Once you have finished selling, please place your Collections’ certificate of authority into the ziplock bag and also the booklet cover so that things are made easier for me when I’m collecting everything from you.
Cadet’s who do not have your ticket booklet because you did not come for the last training due to some reasons, do not have to come except for Pan Fei & Pan Zi because we need your help in selling Glenn’s booklets since he is not able to do so. Those who have your booklets but are not able to make it, inform me through email by 18/6/2009, 2359hrs.
