Dear cadets,

Next week, training will be as per usual.

Date: 5th February 2010
Reporting time: 2.00pm
Venue: Outside RC room
Attire: Red Cross shirt & track pants
For sec 1s, PE shirt & track pants
D/I: - will only be selected on the actual training day -
IC for bottles: Ngee Siong (arrange bottles, make sure all labels are on the bottles)
* Cadets with no labels, please print it out & paste it yourself before training
* Font: Arial
* Font size: 11
* If you do not have a printer, make an effort to get a friend to help
* Your label should include your full name & your platoon name
* Sec 2s: Herons
* Sec 3s: Aquilas

Things to bring:
- 1.5 coke bottle (compulsory, even for the sec 1s)
- Also for the sec 1s, print your own name labels in this format:
Name:
Platoon: Merganser
(Font: arial, size 11)
- For those without printer, please take the initiative to get your friend to print it for you
- Don't stick your labels first, just bring it
- bring your own scotch tape too

Note:
- Please cut your nails
- All girls, please either clip up your hair, or use a hairband
- Try to keep your hair neat till the end of training
- The Youth Officers and teacher officers are keeping an eye on the girls hair, they commented that the girls hair gets very untidy
- Also, take out all watches and put in your bag
- remember to tuck in your shirts at all times, we've seen a couple of people with shirts untucked for today's training

This next part of the post only involves selected Secondary 2 & 3 cadets and also, the NCOs.
Next Saturday, 6 February 2010, Project RICE will be on.

R.I.C.E refers to the following:
o Reach out to the needy
o Instill the spirit of volunteerism in our youths
o Champion the cause of the needy
o Ensure the long-term sustainability of this rice project

We will be volunteers for this simple event. If i'm not wrong, we'll be collecting or delivering rice to needy people. I'm not so sure on what we're really doing but it has got to do with rice donations. The VIs there will inform us on what to do.

The timing will be confirmed in the later part of the week. Please scan the list, if your name is in the list, please ensure that you are free on that day. For the whole day just to be safe. Whoever's not free, inform me as early as Tuesday, then i'll find a replacement for you. ANY LATER THAN TUESDAY, FIND A REPLACEMENT ON YOUR OWN, THEN INFORM ME.
