Please note that there will be RED CROSS DAY CUM ENROLEMENT CEREMONY at Yio Chu Kang Secondary. Transportation will be provided back and fro. Ya Pin ma'am and Li Yi ma'am will be tagging along. ALL SEC ONES ARE TO GO. Asilah is also required to go. Attire: School Uniform Please bring your personal medication and waterbottle along. Those going are required to learn these songs for the Sing-A-Long session. The two songs are U n I-The Youth of Red Cross and Life Power. You can go to youtube to find the songs. You can also look at these websites; http://www.redcross.org.sg/audio-and-video.phtml or you can listen to the song at the http://www.theunichannel.blogspot.com/ Anyways, on a lighter note, I hope that you have enjoyed your time under us, the AQUILAS<3 I am sorry for any wrong words and hurt feelings that I have caused along the way. And always remember that what we did was for the best. And also due to the principle of All For One, One for All. You guys have been nothing short of awesome. Always stay that way. Sec Ones, though I have only known you for a few months, (None of you were under my orientation group), I have certainly enjoyed your company. You guys are the most quietest batch I have known, but sometimes, you guys got your crazy side, for example the couple run, jump wriggle, wriggle and the 'briefing' we gave you guys. Keep it up for the next batch. Sec Twos, the ones that sometimes make me the most frustrated. Sigh. I will miss you guys. Tomato, hamster and what have you. and Remember, RESPECT IS KEY. Always hold your respect to the upcoming NCOs, even if you sometimes disagree with what they do. Put on that happy face kay. One trick, nod occasionally to show that you are actually paying attention. Though in some ways, you won't miss us, i.e the punishments and stuff, I was glad when you guys said that you guys will miss the little stuff we did. Keep doing what you do, just do it in moderation. Sec Threes, the batch that I have spent most of time scolding. Haha. Anyways, you guys just keep doing what you do. Always remember the times when you were cadets and the times that you absolutely hate the NCOs. Trust me, I've been there. But sometimes, a NCO gotta do what a NCO gotta do. You guys might not get it now, but you guys will one day. I hope you will treasure the time that you have as a NCO because I personally feel it's too short. Maybe at first you'll be like "ARGH, I want to step down already." because of the changes in your life, both academically and socially. The events that you have to attend, the emails that you need to reply, the discipline of cadets and the list goes on. But it's this little challenges that you guys face is what changes you, for the better. And in the end, when it's time to step down, it'll be painful and you WILL be reluctant. Always stay united and be sure to sort out every single argument on the spot, it might escalate to something bigger in the future if left alone. Nevertheless, I wish you all the best for the future. Remember the advice given kay? Okay, enough of my babble. Happy New Year without the NCOs of 2010/11 and welcome Herons NCOs of 2011/12. May you guys bring the Unit to greater heights. Hugs, Azilah ma'am.;D
