National Heritage Trail - 24th August 2012

Cadets, there is training this coming Friday, 24th August 2012... okay, I'm just kidding :p
Cadets, there is National Heritage Trail this Friday, 24th August 2012! :D
Here are the details for this Friday's field trip.

Date: 24 August 2012Friday
Reporting Time: 1400 hours
Dismissal Time: 1730-1800 hours
Attire: Mufti (White mufti with trackpants) [yes, the usual attire]

Things you are required to bring:
1. Water Bottles
2. Personal Medication (if required)
3. Pen (compulsory) / Clipboard (optional)
4. Poncho/Hat/Umbrella (wet weather)
5. Small Bag To Put in all of the above

You all will be going to the City Hall area to survey 5 areas. There will be worksheets for you all to fill up asking questions about the areas. The worksheets should be duly completed by the end of the field trip.

The entire trip should last ≈ 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the instructions!

There will be transport provided to and fro the venue, so you'll leave your school bags at school and carry your small bags there.

Handphones and wallets are your personal valuables, so you can either leave them at school (for safety) or take them with you. However, do note that we will not be liable for any loss of valuables should you take them with you, as it is your own personal responsibility to take care of them.

Also, should you at any point wish to go to the toilet during the trail, please inform an NCO! However, it is advised that you go to the toilet at school, before the trail, to prevent any inconvenience.

Even though this is a field trip/trail, we still expect basic respect from you guys, to prevent any inconvenience and to ensure it goes smoothly.

ATTENDANCE IS STILL COUNTED!

YOUR SMALL/EXTRA BAG SHOULD BE PACKED BEFORE REPORTING.

Take note of the following:
- Cut your nails short. (as usual)
- Wear spectacle hooks (for those wearing spectacles).
- Tuck in your shirt at ALL times.
- DO NOT drag your footwear.
- Girls to tie bun and wear bun net, clip up fringe and feelers. (Yes, even on the trail)
- Hair to be neat and presentable.
- Report on time! (or you'll miss the bus!)
- Be on your best behaviour!
- Those who are of the inappropriate attire (long nails, no trackpants, no bun net, fringe/feelers not clipped up) will have to bear the consequences:
• Long Nails - to be cut on the spot + $1 fine . (Nail clippers are provided)
• No bun net - $2/per bun net
• Fringe/Feelers not clipped up - $0.50/per clip

We expect you to be on your best behaviour on the trail. It is a public place, after all, and thus you guys must be considerate. Finally, have fun on the trail.
