Home Visit

HEYYYYYYY CADETS !

As you guys know , there is a home visit on 20 November 2012 . It would be at Kheng Chiu Happy Lodge , the one near to our school so we would be walking there . Each one of you are to bring along at least an umbrella or a poncho in case it rains .

Also , the old folks at the home are made up of mostly Chinese speaking people so I would need each one of you to find a partner which is of different race and at least 1 of you is able to converse in Chinese .

We would be doing 2 activities over there : Performance for the old folks as well as playing Bingo with them .

For the performance , these are the 2 Chinese songs which we will be singing for them . Please practice them at home . Lyrics will be given on the day itself but i would need you guys to really sing out loud so that the elderly can feel your enthusiasm and be happy that we are there !

I know both songs are in Chinese and its really awkward for the Malay cadets to sing but there would be hanyu pinyin printed on the lyrics so at least you guys try to sing , instead of standing there doing nothing . There's nothing wrong to sing the wrong thing but at least you bothered to TRY .

REMEMBER , WE ARE THERE TO MAKE THEM FEEL HAPPY SO INTERACT WITH THEM AND DON'T FEEL AWKWARD ! :D
