Debrief (Training on 14/6)

Cadets,
If you guys observed from our training today, there are many things we need to improve on. Those cadets who did not come for training today, I expect to see you the next training.
From the many things I observed today, you guys need to improve on:
1. SENSE OF URGENCY
I realized that without your seniors to push you on and shout at you, you guys will not move with a sense of urgency, you guys tend to take you own sweet time!
2. Your ABCD
Throughout the whole training today, the mistakes commonly made is COMPLAINING and DRAGGING OF FOOTWEAR which is what I don't want to see. Cadets, make the effort to lift your leg when you are walking and DON'T COMPLAIN especially during punishments. When we give you punishments, it is because you have failed to uphold the rules we have set and yet you made the mistakes again and again!
3. RESPONSIVENESS
We are not talking to walls so we expect a reply when we ask a question. Also when you reply, SPEAK UP. Nobody is going to hear you if you are talking so softly!
4. RESPECT
Although most of you are respecting us, there is still a handful of you who disrespect your seniors. You respect us not only because we are your NCOs but because we are your seniors! Also, when we talk about respect, you are to respect your juniors, batch mates, seniors and your YOs.

After today's training, I hope these areas that I have touched on will be improved and I hope they won't fall on deaf ears. Don't worry, you seniors are here to constantly remind you and make sure you improve.
Lastly, I want ALL OF YOU to write a 300 word reflection on today's training.
Write about:
1. Your thoughts on today's training
2. What you can improve on
3. What you think you have done wrong
For those we did not come to training today, DO the reflections as well but you can write about another Red Cross training.
NOTE*** :If you people are too rude, disrespectful and show no sign of improvement, we can discuss and not promote you. Some of you think that you are superior than the rest but if it is needed, we will take necessary actions against you.
That's all and I hope all of you can reflect on your actions today. We mentioned many things to you and we hope that you can obey the rules. If you have any questions, feel free to approach your seniors.
Remember, ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE.

With Regards,
Debbie Tan
Incoming Vice-Chairman
